I'm a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), currently finishing a Master's in Social Work. Most of my career so far has been spent in homes, schools, and clinics — writing behavior plans, training caregivers, and sitting in more IEP meetings than I can count. This site grew out of a simple frustration: a lot of genuinely good information about autism and behavior support is either locked behind a clinic intake process or written in language that assumes you already have a degree in it.
I started my MSW because so much of what families actually struggle with isn't really a "behavior problem" — it's a systems problem. Navigating school services, insurance, guardianship, providers who don't communicate with each other. Behavior analysis gives me tools for the day-to-day; social work is teaching me more about the bigger picture families are operating inside of.
What I focus on
- Autism and behavior support across childhood — sensory regulation, communication, transitions, and skill-building
- Helping families make sense of FBAs, BIPs, and IEP goals written in clinical language
- Advocacy and navigation — the parts of having an autistic kid that have nothing to do with behavior and everything to do with systems
- Supporting the transition into adulthood, an area I think is consistently underserved
What this site is — and isn't
The consultations and templates here are educational and consultative. They're meant to give you language, structure, and a sounding board — not to replace your child's actual care team, and not to function as ongoing clinical treatment. If a consultation surfaces something that needs hands-on clinical support, I'll say so directly and point you toward what that could look like.
A few common questions
Do you accept insurance? No — consultations here are private-pay and are not billed as clinical services. If you're looking for insurance-covered ABA therapy, a consultation can still help you figure out what to look for in a provider.
Will you diagnose my child? No. Diagnosis requires a formal evaluation, typically through a developmental pediatrician, psychologist, or multidisciplinary team. I'm happy to talk through what that process usually looks like.
Is this the same as ongoing ABA therapy? No — think of it more like a knowledgeable second opinion or a place to get unstuck on a specific question, not a replacement for direct services.
Have a question this didn't answer? A single session is often enough to get unstuck.
